Our paper lantern collection is made of eco-friendly
material. The paper used for the lantern making is a recycled material.
It is exported cotton paper that is not easily torn. The lanterns
are also hand-made by skillful craftsmen. There are various sorts
of sizes, forms and color that can be made upon your demand. We
used batik painting to color the decorations on the lantern.
You must be a little careful to put the white lanterns dotted with
red stars or circles since the water staining on the red decorations
can dirt your white lantern. However, if your lanterns have color
other than white, it will not be a big problem, since the colored
lanterns are usually one color.

Our bamboo carving products are completely made by hands.
The products are made in home-industries based in the small
villages in the heart of Bali. The knowledge of bamboo carving
is passed from generation to generation. Therefore the whole
process is traditional.
Our raw material, bamboo, is obtained from Bangli, a regency
in Bali that is noted for its excellent bamboo quality. This
primary material of ours does reflect our commitment to offer
only the best products for our customers.

The bamboo bags are all made of bamboo sheaths
that are finely cut ventrally. The length of the bamboo sheaths
to be cut depends on the end products. The long sheaths are
needed to create bigger products. Prior to the carving process,
the sheaths pass some processes. First, they are dried under
the sunlight. The drying process takes from one to two days
depending on the strength of sun exposure. The process aims
at protecting the end products from any moss infestation.
The dried bamboo sheaths, next, should be
polished by a special knife and with special skill. This process
is painstakingly done by hands.
The dyeing process, which follows the polishing
is performed depending on the desired products. If the end
products should bear mixing colors, the bamboo sheaths will
be dyed first. In the dyeing process, the bamboo sheaths are
cooked in the boiled dyeing solution for about 15 minutes
until the color completely absorbs into the bamboo sheaths.
In this process, we only use special dye for bamboo.
Following to the dyeing process, the sheaths are dried under
the sun. After that, they prepare to be carved into bags.
If the desired products bear natural bamboo color, the dry
bamboo sheaths can be
carved once they are finished polished. We have naturally
gifted carvers that skillfully

Other carved bamboo products we have include
lamp holders and lamp receptacles, which are also made by
hands by our talented carvers. The process of bamboo cutting,
the modeling, the making and the fabric fastening is made
by our skillful craftsmen. We do not make our products by
machine. Even the dyeing process is performed by men. That
is what we offer to our customers: completely hand-made products.
