in Europe
Our position at the forefront of Europe
means you can be certain of the advantages a market leader can
offer. With our roots; and the bulk of our business in Europe,
we've developed strong support networks.Thirty-one cleclicated
aircraft serve 200 depots around Europe, and handle 350 tones
claily.
At the heart of our European operations is the new hub at Liege
in Belgium.
Launched on April 27, 1998, Liege will take express distribution
into, the 21 st century. It is the most advanced air hub of
its kind, with a state-of-the-art, high-capacity parcel sorting
system, and a cleclicated aircraft maintenance hangar. Shipments
from Asia and the rest of the world are
injected directly into, the European Air Network (EAN) and European
Road Network (ERN). This means faster, more cost-efficient distribution
than ever before.
On the road, a cleclicated fleet of 2250 vehicles move over
6,000 tones a week, serving over 200 depots. Every week, the
European Road Network transports 185,000 consignments across
